How to use it
Decide how old
A vampire turned in 1400 and one turned in 1990 shouldn't have the same name. Pick one that fits their mortal life.
Use the secret
Each name comes with a line about the vampire. It's a reason for them to need, or hunt, the heroes.
Aliases
Vampires change names to hide. Generate a few and give yours a history of past identities.
Example vampire names
Masculine: Silvan Draven, Prince Alexei Draven, Silvan Thornfield, Emeric Valcourt, Count Damien Harrowgate, Tobias Harrowgate, Lord Octavian Ashgrove, Count Corvin Vasari.
Feminine: Duchess Adelaide Kovacs, Seraphine Varga, Countess Isolde Nightingale, Countess Evangeline Sangrave, Elisabeta Varga, Mother Seraphine Szabo, Countess Celestine Blackthorn, Duchess Rosalind Corvane.
What makes a vampire name
Vampire names lean on Eastern and Central European roots (Elisabeta, Teodor, Varga) and old aristocratic surnames, because the genre grew up in castles. A title like Countess or Baron adds age. For a modern vampire, drop the title: they've had centuries to learn to blend in.
