How to use it
Cover the basics first
Make sure someone covers death, harvest, the sea and war, then add odd ones like Lost Things or Thresholds.
Clerics
For a D&D cleric, pick a god whose domain matches your subclass, then use the worship detail in roleplay.
Swear by them
A god's name should be easy to curse with. If players say it in play, it's working.
Example god names
Gods: Arene, Thalea, Thaliath, Raumi, Uluun, Toreth, Pelaoth, Soliea.
Goddesses: Osoyn, Toroeth, Luiara, Koror, Naeoeth, Daeoth, Thaleos, Toroath.
Building a pantheon
A pantheon works when the domains cover what people care about: harvest, sea, death, war, love, the road. Give each god a short, sonorous name that's easy to swear by, and one strange detail about the faith. That detail is what players remember.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Names are put together in your browser, so it's free with no sign-up and no limit.
Are these real gods?
No. Names are generated and the domains are common fantasy ones, so you can build your own pantheon.
Can I use these names in my own book or game?
Yes. They're built from word parts rather than copied from a list, so you can use them however you like.
