D&D character generator
Two ready-to-play 5e characters at a time: class, species, background, ability scores, armor class, hit points, skills, starting gear and a reason to go adventuring. Choose a class and level or leave it to the dice.
How to use it
Use it as a starting point
Ability scores use the standard array plus background bonuses, so they're table-legal for most groups. Check the numbers against your rules before session one and adjust anything your DM handles differently.
Need a character in five minutes?
Roll at level 1 for a new campaign, or at 3, 5 or 10 when someone joins mid-game or a character dies. Keep the backstory hook and you have something to play right away.
Steal the personality, keep your build
Already have a build? Set the class and species to match and roll for a name, personality and backstory that fit it.
Play them solo
Press Play this as an adventure to take the character straight into a free AI text adventure, no dice or group needed.
