How to use it
Give each city one thing it's known for
A cathedral, a market, a disaster, a ruler. The hook under each name is a starting point; keep the one that makes you want to set a scene there.
Match the name to the region
Elven names for old forest cities, dwarven names under the mountains, desert names along the caravan routes. The map starts to feel real when names in one area sound related.
Districts need names too
Big cities are made of neighborhoods. Generate a few classic-style names and use them for districts, gates and bridges inside one city.
